The online portion of fragbite Masters Season 4 has come to an end, with the top four sides advancing to the offline.
Following the end of the group stage, the top two sides from each group advanced to the Upper Bracket, whereas the third-placed sides had to battle for survival in the Lower Bracket.
Na`Vi and Team SoloMid were the first two sides to secure places at the season finals, scheduled for next weekend, after moving past HellRaisers and fnatic, respectively, in the Upper semi-finals.
Shortly after, HellRaisers became the third team to book their place at the Swedish event as they fended off the threat of Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's nEophyte, who were without a doubt the surprise package of the tournament.
fnatic secured the last place at the fb Masters finals
The final spot was then contested by EnVyUs and fnatic, two teams who have been going through slumps in form lately. Even with Andreas "znajder" Lindberg as a stand-in for Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, who is recovering from surgery, fnatic were able to come out on top of this best-of-three series following 16-14 and 16-6 victories on de_dust2 and de_inferno, respectively, which sandwiched EnVyUs' 16-12 success on de_cache.
This means that the following four teams will be attending the offline finals of fragbite Masters Season 4, in Stockholm, where approximately $60,000 will be up for grabs:
